Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day oilfield operations and equipment handling

• Support crew members in camp and field work environments

• Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract

• Current H2S Alive and First Aid certifications (required)

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Reliable transportation to and from work

Compensation & Benefits

• $33.00/hour, with overtime pay

Dekker Oilfield Services, based in Lloydminster, Alberta, is seeking experienced Camp Picker Operators / Journeyman Boom Truck “A” Operators to join our team. These are camp-based positions offering competitive pay, overtime, and benefits with scheduled days off.

Position Overview

As a Journeyman Picker Operator, you’ll safely operate boom trucks (up to 50-ton capacity), support lifting operations, and work collaboratively with crews to ensure efficient and safe oilfield operations.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Boom Truck “A” Ticket – must be qualified to operate a 45-ton unit

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence with a clean abstract

• Current H2S Alive and First Aid certifications (required)

• Must possess all standard oilfield safety tickets

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite

Compensation & Benefits

• $58.00/hour, plus paid overtime
